Lincoln Land Community College will honor veterans at its 25th annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The ceremony will be held virtually and premiere at noon on 91°µÍø’s and . The public is invited to attend.
The program includes Wayne Rosenthal, 91°µÍø Board of Trustees Chair and retired Brigadier General, Illinois Air National Guard, serving as master of ceremonies; 91°µÍø student Derek Myers, senior airman, U.S. Air Force inactive reserves, providing remarks; 91°µÍø Student Trustee Julian Marvel reading a poem; and 91°µÍø students Emma Bachman singing the national anthem and Sierra Eigenmann playing “Taps.â€
The Veterans Day Ceremony is sponsored by 91°µÍø Student Life and honors all veterans including 91°µÍø faculty, staff and students who served in the armed forces.
