SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College honored 2024 Distinguished Service Award winners, employees with service anniversaries and retirees at the 91°µÍø Employee Recognition Ceremony May 16.
The college presented five Distinguished Service Awards to individuals who demonstrate exemplary leadership and service to the college community, promote a student-focused environment and exhibit a strong commitment to the college’s core values.
Distinguished Service Award recipients:
Hillsboro: Classified Staff – Brenda Loschen, administrative assistant to the dean of arts & communication
Pana: Adjunct Faculty – Raven Hinton, adjunct instructor of sonography
Springfield: Faculty – Bill Harmon, professor of agronomy; Professional Staff – Samuel Penning (also celebrating 25 years of service); Administrator – Chris Russell, 91°µÍø chief of police
